This database surveys complete runs of popular magazines from the long technological twentieth century (1887-2007).
It is intended to explore the ways in which narratives of science, technology, engineering and medicine developed, the themes they covered, and the continuities they maintained, during the long technological twentieth century.
You can search the whole database using the search box at the top of the table, or by individual categories using the boxes underneath each row.
Where possible, we have tried to provide links to content which is available online. Please note that much of this content may be pay-walled, as many of the magazines remain going concerns.
If you want to display the hyperlinks, change the columns which are visible, please press the eye icon at the top of the page.
It is a work in progress, and we are continuing to add content all the time. If there is something you would like to see added, please contact Mat Paskins at msp2 [at] aber.ac.uk.
